GOM Player is one of the apps that recently received an update, so users who are already running this particular multimedia player on their computers are advised to check for new versions as soon as possible.

GOM Player 2.2.62.5205 includes improved subtitle support, so the app can now work with ASS/SSA subtitles too, while also correcting and issue causing some RTL subtitles not to be displayed in the correct order.

At the same time, the new version also brings enhancements for the bookmarks feature, adding a confirmation dialog box when clicking the “Delete All” button.

The Advanced Capture option has also received some attention, so it now comes with the ability “to set the output ratio for captures when using Advance Capture and Screencap features,” as the parent company explains in the official release notes provided to us this morning.

Last but not least, this fresh version integrates better support for FLAC & M4A audio files, so these two particular formats can now be added to the playlist using drag and drop as well.

Of course, the app continues to provide support for all Windows versions on the market, so you can download GOM Player even if you're still on Windows XP or in case you made the move to Windows 8.1 Update already.
