Maxthon Browser is one of the applications that really deserve a try in case you’re looking for a simple alternative for the more popular Firefox or Chrome.

Two new versions released today come with lots of improvements, so Windows users who have already deployed Maxthon Browser should get them as soon as possible.

The new beta build, for example, packs QR code support to quickly share pages, but also optimizations for the Magic Fill drop-drown menu, the sync process of SkyNote, or the loading performance of Sidebar, Toolbar, and Search box.

The new stable version, on the other hand, has build number 4.1.0.4000 and integrates lots of fixes, including one that address a bug which prevented memory usage from dropping after closing tabs.
