Microsoft continues its marketing blitz with a pretty awkward commercial

Soon after Microsoft officially pushed Outlook.com out of beta, the company announced that it would start a new marketing blitz for its email service, very similar to the one used to advertise the Windows 8 operating system.

So it’s no surprise that the Redmond-based technology giant rolled out a new Outlook.com commercial a few hours ago, but if you look carefully, you may notice something that’s a bit unusual.

Microsoft has apparently decided to feature two women kissing to outline Outlook.com features, most likely trying to show at the same time its support for gay marriage in the United States.

The company is yet to roll out a public comment on the idea behind this new commercial, so have a look at this video and share your thoughts using the comment box after the jump.
