Microsoft launches new Surface Pro 3 commercial

Microsoft launched the Surface Pro 3 in May 2014, and since then, the company has promoted this tablet as the best alternative to the traditional laptop, as it has the best of two worlds and helps you remain productive wherever you go.

The same motif is being used for a new Surface Pro 3 commercial that highlights the main capabilities of Microsoft's device, including the built-in kickstand, which allows you to use it as a fully featured laptop, and support for Office on the desktop.

Obviously, it takes a little bit more to become a powerful laptop replacement, and no matter what some people say, the Surface Pro 3 continues to be a very expensive device, as the top-of-the-range configuration can be yours in the United States for around $1,950 (€1,500).

And yet, its hardware capabilities are really impressive, as this high-end model comes with an Intel i7 processor, 512 GB of storage space, and 8 GB of RAM, as well as with microSD support and a digital pen to make drawing and writing easier.

Rumor has it that a new Surface model is on its way, as Microsoft is working to deliver a new tablet running Windows 10 and capable of making the most of the new operating system.

Details are not available right now, but a late-2015 release date is very likely, given the fact that Windows 10 is expected to ship in the fall of this year.
