A new version of the software is now showing up in the Store

A new version of Norton Studio is now being shipped to Windows 8 adopters through the integrated Windows Store, as Symantec Corporation has released several important bug fixes.

While the release notes displayed in the Store only point to some more or less important patches, the app continues to rely on a great feature package that includes the ability to check the status of every installed Norton app and the possibility to fix flagged problems on local and remote systems.

Since no Norton products are currently available on Windows 8 computers, Norton Studio currently works on x86 and x64 builds exclusively, so no ARM version is being offered.

It remains freeware for all platforms, which means that users can download and install it at no cost.
