The latest update for Notepad++ has been released over the weekend and it does not contain any new features as the developer focused on eliminating a bug that occurred in the previous revision.

There aren’t any specifics available from the developer, but the glitch removed in version 6.4.1 of the application fixes a crash issue.

Version 6.4 of the application has also emerged over the weekend and includes significant modifications. Among them are the Function List Panel, Find/Replace dialog statusbar and new user interface of Preferences dialog.

Fixes are also on the list and address issues such as the crash that occurred when deleting a macro from the respective menu. On the same note, the developer did away with the bug that caused the window position not to be saved and restored correctly.
