Best Buy, one of the largest Microsoft partners in the United States, has just released its very own Windows 8 application, thus giving its customers a chance to check out its product catalogs straight from the Modern user interface.

This first build of the app doesn’t provide users with too many features, but it does allow them to read ratings and reviews, purchase Best Buy products with shipment, delivery and store pickup support and get product details and make comparisons.

Many more features will be implemented in the next releases, as the developers behind the project promised to introduce new updates on a regular basis.

Just as expected, Best Buy for Windows 8 comes with support for all versions of Microsoft’s new operating system, so Surface RT owners can install it as well.
