Opera are close to release the stable build for version 12.10 of their browser, but not that close, since they have recently rolled out a new snapshot that doubles as a beta RC, the fourth.
The Norwegian developer decided to slow down a little before coming up with Opera 12.10 beta in order to do some more bug fixing. As such, the freshly released build is still a snapshot.
Among the most significant repairs there is one relating to a NSL (non-stop loading) that occurred on Mac and Linux platforms.
Additional modifications include fixing a bug that caused the browser to crash when SPDY protocol was used. On the same note, Opera should no longer crash after losing and re-establishing SOCKS proxy.
The plugin wrapper failing on exit, on 64-bit Windows, has also been fixed. More details about the changes can be found here.
