It does away with top crasher, fixes some keyboard problems

The second release candidate for Opera 12.12 has come, as the development team promised in an earlier blog post. As expected, it contains a brief list of fixes.

Significant for this revision is that a top crashing bug has been eliminated. The application would suddenly terminate upon exit.

Also solved is the problem that prevented users from typing or pasting in the address bar, under certain conditions.

In the new build, media keys should no longer be blocked or unrecognized and Speed Dial shortcuts can be used with Ctrl+keypad numbers.

Although there is no solid information about the release of the stable build, it may be safe to assume that Opera won’t wait for 2013 to launch version 12.12 of the browser; we may even see it before Christmas.
