Bugs affecting out-of-process plugins have also been eliminated

Another development build has been released for the upcoming Opera 12, which is currently in beta stage. Important fixes available in this update touch on out-of-process plugins (OoPP), hardware acceleration and the skin.

As far as GPU acceleration is concerned, the development team dealt with font bugs as well as the new Renderer setting that can be set to 1 in order to enable the DirectX back-end. Those preferring OpenGL should set the value to zero. However, hardware acceleration is turned off by default in Opera 12 so make sure you enable it before making the aforementioned configuration.

Additional modifications in this build refer to Flash crashes and Opera freezing upon opening the file upload dialog invoked by the plugin. Browser crashes were also recorded when playing videos in full-screen for a while. The full list of changes is available here.
