Opera Software continues development of the next stable version of its browser, so the company today rolled out a new beta build supposed to let developers and users try out some of the features that could be part of a major release later this year.

Just as expected, Opera 18.0.1284.11 Next is mostly aimed at fixing bugs and other issues in the previous releases, so users are all advised to deploy the update as fast as possible.

The Chromium engine has been updated to version 1650.26, while the new release also fixes bugs affecting link dragging, the tab bar and the layout.

Opera 18.0.1284.11 Next is aimed at both Windows and Mac OS X users and can be downloaded free of charge on all machines.
