Opera today launched a new preview version of its browser, this time as part of the developer channel that comprises early builds of its next stable release.

Opera Developer 22.0.1471.5 was mostly released to fix some bugs and address performance issues, according to a change log rolled out by the parent company, so this could be the right timing for you to update the browser in case you’ve experienced some issues.

As you could easily figure out since it’s just a developer version, this new Opera release is not supposed to be used by consumers, but only by those with a bit more computer knowledge who can diagnose bugs and send reports to the developing team.

A number of issues could obviously still exist in this Opera version, so unless you’re ready to send feedback to the company whenever you come across something wrong within the app, just get the stable build.

As far as Windows is concerned, Opera supports all versions, including the discontinued Windows XP that was retired earlier this month, so it no longer receives updates and security patches.

All in all, this update should clearly come in handy to those who want to try out the next browser version before it hits the market, so download Opera Developer 22.0.1471.5 right now to see what’s new.
