Some of Microsoft’s services appear to be down today, August 14, 2013, as users are reporting problems with signing in into their accounts.

According to Microsoft’s services status page, the issue is currently affecting Outlook, the delivery of Address book change notifications, and SkyDrive.

The Redmond-based software giant notes that Outlook users might not be able to access their email accounts at the moment, and that the aforementioned notifications may not be properly delivered to Hotmail (EAS) for some customers.

“Services such as Hotmail, Messenger, and SkyDrive are experiencing technical difficulties. We appreciate your patience as we work on the problem,” the company notes on said page.

No specific details on what caused the outage have been provided as of now, or on how long it will take for said issues to be resolved, but Microsoft might offer more info on the matter soon.

Update: All services are back online, except for Outlook.com. "You might have issues syncing email with your mobile device," Microsoft tells Outlook users.

Update 2: Apparently, some Outlook users are still experiencing issues with the service.
