We already knew that Panda Security was one of the vendors whose products would continue to work on Windows XP after end of support, but today the company launched a new press statement to emphasize that actually all its applications will continue to receive updates on the retired operating system.

Panda Global Protection 2014, Panda Internet Security 2014 and Panda Antivirus Pro 2014 will all provide support for Windows XP, the company said today, without mentioning when it plans to remove compatibility for this particular platform.

“Users will no longer receive technical assistance, automatic security updates or fixes to help protect their PCs. However, as previously announced last January, Panda Security products will continue to support Windows XP systems for the foreseeable future,” Panda Security explained.

Such news is particularly important for Windows XP users who do not plan to upgrade to a newer OS version anytime soon, as running a third-party security product is extremely important in such conditions.

Panda Security, however, is not the only company that will continue to support Windows XP now that Microsoft has pulled the plug on its ancient operating system, as the majority of security vendors out there promise to keep updating their apps until all users complete the upgrade to a more secure OS.
