Even though the Redmond-based technology giant won’t organize a launch party due to the NYC snowstorm, the Surface with Windows 8 Pro would still go on sale in just a few hours in both the United States and Canada.

In addition, Microsoft has just started the pre-order program for the new tablet, even though we’re very close to the public debut of the Surface Pro.

As you probably know by now, the second Surface comes with Windows 8 Pro and offers support for full desktop apps. The device will be available in two different versions, with pricing to start at $899 (€672) for the entry-level model.

Consumers will be allowed to purchase a Surface Pro with either 64 GB or 128 GB storage space, but a keyboard won’t be included in the package. Instead, the device will be sold with a Surface Pen.
