PrivaZer is a nifty freebie that can help with getting rid of computer usage traces and with improving overall system performance. Recently, it has been updated to version 2.3.0, which integrates several improvements as far as the cleanup routines are concerned.

The current revision seems to be addressing users of Internet Explorer in particular because the changes refer to optimizations regarding Microsoft’s web browser.

First on the list of changes are optimizations for cleaning private data accumulated while browsing with IE. This includes items stored in History or in the cache location.

Additional improvements available in this build touch on the CryptnetUrlCache cleaning routine and minor modifications relating to the user interface of the application and icons.

PrivaZer can detect invalid files and errors in Windows Registry, securely delete files and folders or schedule automatic cleaning procedures (not available in the portable version).
