Rain Alarm has just received a brand new update on Windows 8, as developers tried to address some of the bugs found by users in previous releases.

The new version of the application is now available for download from the Store, so make sure you check out the “Updates” section to deploy it as soon as possible.

The release notes point to some unnamed bug fixes, which pretty much means that Rain Alarm should work a bit faster, regardless of whether you are running Windows 8 or Windows RT.

As a reminder, this is a great app for those who wish to get warnings and notifications every time precipitations, such as rain or snow, are reported for a user-defined location.
