14 DAY TRIAL // Piriform updated Recuva, their file recovery application, to version 1.46. This is a minor release; nevertheless, it packs new features and improves overall functionality of the product.
The new Recuva includes the possibility to start a folder scan straight from Windows context menu and expands the file filtering by adding new extensions to the list.
As far as improvements are concerned, the developer enhanced the Deep Scan function for exFAT and FAT drives.
On the same note, the accuracy of the scan statistics should be better as well as the usability of the folder browser. Furthermore, users should work better with the recovery wizard.
The list of modifications contains only one repair. Piriform announced that they fixed a minor bug in secure overwrite on exFAT file systems.
