There’s no need to explain or exemplify the amount and diversity of activities you can carry on a Windows computer. Switching from one type to the other might take some time, which is why it’s good to have everything at your fingertips.

There are an abundance of customization options you can use to turn Windows into a workspace that suits your needs or meets any sophisticated demands. However, with all icons grouped in folders, hidden in plain sight, or placed on the taskbar, navigation still seems to take time.

In these scenarios, specialized programs like GameEx really come in handy. Using it, you can perform an abundance of multimedia and gaming operations from a single dashboard, with tons of customization options to manage.

A modern multimedia interface

First of all, go download GameEx, install it, and run it.

It starts in fullscreen mode by default, but you can switch to a windowed mode from the upper toolbar.

Accessing More Games & Programs lets you visit the Configuration screen. It’s best to go through all settings in order to create multimedia playlists and define how and what to use.

The upper toolbar is fitted with playback controls. Songs are automatically loaded from Windows Media Player libraries, or specified in the Configuration screen. Apart from songs, the Multimedia category lets you watch both online and offline clips.

MAME (Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator) is a feature packed with dozens of retro video games. Online databases let you update your list with new entries. You can play any of them and even compare results online.
