14 DAY TRIAL // Skulls of the Shogun was released on Windows 8 platforms in late January, but the game is already experiencing a terrific success, so the company behind it decided to roll out a discount for new buyers.
17-BIT announced a few hours ago that Skulls of the Shogun is now priced at $6.99 (€5.35) on Xbox Live Arcade, Windows 8 and Windows RT, down from the regular price of $14.99 (€11.5).
In addition, the company is introducing Skulls Anywhere, a cross-platform gameplay that allows users to challenge their friends through the Internet.
“For the first time ever, players will be able to challenge their friends, fight their way through online multiplayer battles, and even take their single-player campaign on the road asynchronously — whether they’re playing on Xbox 360, Windows 8, Surface, or Windows Phone,” the company said.
