14 DAY TRIAL // Skype 6.5 is now available for download for Windows users, bringing improved video messaging plus several important bug fixes.
According to a post published by the Skype team, video messaging stability has been improved with this new built, while a new notification system has been introduced to make the feature easier to use.
“We continue to improve video messaging while it’s in preview and encourage you to try it. Video messaging enables you to share life moments with contacts whether they’re off or online,” the Skype team explained.
In addition, accepting a contact request will now appear right in your instant message view, which is supposed to make it more intuitive to send and accept contact requests.
Last but not least, this new build fixes some previously reported issues, such as bugs affecting file transfers, network connectivity, keyboard navigation and stability.
