Microsoft has just released a new version of its Skype VoIP client for Mac computers, which comes with support for new languages plus a large collection of fixes.

According to the official release notes of version 7.5, Skype for Mac comes with support for a total of 14 new languages, including Hindi, Turkish, Czech, Ukrainian, Greek, Hungarian, Romanian, Indonesian, Catalan, Croatian, Slovak, Vietnamese, Thai and Malay.

At the same time, it packs plenty of fixes, some of which are aimed at bugs causing the input field to occasionally disappear and one that caused high CPU consumption when using animated emoticons.

What's more, Microsoft fixed several crash issues and a bug that led to screen flickering when the shared window was off-screen.

There's also a known issue in this new version which, according to Microsoft, causes the screen-sharing notification to be received after pausing and resuming a call.

Needless to say, all users are recommended to get it as soon as possible, as this new version of the app comes with quite a lot of enhancements, so an overall improved experience should be noticed after updating.

As Microsoft does with other apps, it wants users to share feedback on this new version, so go ahead and download Skype 7.5 for Mac to see what's new and send you thoughts to the parent company.
