Skype WiFi is one of the apps that got improved today, so a new version is now waiting for your download in the Store, regardless of whether you are running Windows 8 or Windows RT.

According to the official release notes published in the Store, the new version comes with the ability to sign in using a Microsoft account, while also adding support for 26 new languages.

“With Skype WiFi you can get online at over 1 million public WiFi hotspots worldwide at the touch of a button. You’re now free to browse the web, check your email or enjoy free calls and messages to all your friends and family with the Skype app,” the app description now reads.

Just like previous builds, Skype WiFi can be installed on both Windows 8 and Windows RT, so Surface RT owners can use it as well.
