Skype Wi-Fi, the freeware Windows 8 application that allows users to connect to public Wi-Fi networks almost instantly, has received a new update that’s available right now from the Windows Store.

According to the official release notes published in the Store, the program now comes with the ability to sign in using your Microsoft account, while also adding support for 26 new languages.

“Simply connect to any supported public WiFi hotspot, open the Skype WiFi app and tap the big green Connect button, and ta-da! You’re now connected to the internet (wasn’t that easy?),” the app description describes the steps you need to follow to connect to the Internet.

The application obviously works on both Windows 8 and Windows RT and comes free of charge for all users.
