Piriform launched a new update for their system inventory tool, Speccy. Version 1.20 of the application brings to the table a handful of improvements.

Most of the progress made in this release refers to expanding the detection of specific software on the system. Antivirus detection on regular systems introduced in the previous release has now been expanded to server operating systems.

The developer also added the detection of Internet Explorer to the Operating System section of the program. The same section now also includes the detection of the Java version available on the machine and the build number for PowerShell utility.

Another modification for this revision consists of the possibility to use any custom user format as far as number formatting is concerned.

Download Speccy; it is also available as a portable download.
