Starting today, Start Menu 8 is also compatible with Windows 8.1 RTM, which makes it the perfect companion for users in need of a much more familiar interface for their new computer.

Even though it packs the same features as before, IObit’s own Start Menu app comes with full support for the final version of Windows 8.1 which is set to make its public debut on October 18.

The application comes with several skins for the Start button and completely replaces the new one included in Windows 8.1, making it much easier to access apps and settings.

At the same time, it also replaces the revamped right-click Start Menu available in Windows 8.1, giving users the option to launch the Start screen and access Metro apps with just one click.
