Start8 is one of the top Start Menu replacements out there, so a new beta specifically designed to run on the new Windows 8.1 Preview shouldn’t come as a big surprise.

Just like the previous versions, the new Start8 seems to perfectly fit the user interface of Windows 8.1 Preview and in order to make the operating system a much more familiar working environment, it provides several styles for the Start button.

The application not only provides access to Metro apps, but it also lets you quickly access the Start screen, just like the built-in Start button available in Windows 8.1 Preview.

What’s more, it completely replaces the available Start button introduced by Microsoft in the new OS, so you won’t need to deal with two different launchers on your screen.
