Dell is one of the key Microsoft partners that are supporting the transition from Windows XP to a newer platform, with the company now launching new migration services to provide assistance to those needing it.

Dell warns that staying with Windows XP beyond the April 8, 2014 retirement date exposes you to “tremendous security risk and escalating costs,” so switching to a newer Windows version is the easiest and fastest way to solve this problem.

“Switching your end users to Windows 7 or Windows 8 is the only way to continue receiving the latest security updates and support from Microsoft. Dell experts can help make your transition rapid, easy and hassle free,” Dell explained.

The company claims that it remains the number one Microsoft Windows 7 deployment partner and guarantees that moving from Windows XP to a newer platform shouldn’t take longer than 16 weeks.
