Microsoft has already confirmed that it plans to release the Surface Pro in some new markets, but the company hasn’t provided any other details on this international launch.

As far as the United Kingdom is concerned, the Redmond-based technology giant is apparently working to bring the tablet in stores as soon as this month.

Pocket-Lint writes that Microsoft Senior Manager for Surface, Ben Reed, confirmed that the Surface Pro would go on sale in just a few weeks, so the tablet could hit the shelves before the end of the month.

In addition to the United Kingdom, Microsoft will also launch the Surface Pro in Australia, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong and New Zealand, but no release date has been provided so far. Microsoft said the device would go on sale “in the coming months,” so more information is likely to be provided soon.
