Microsoft will introduce the Surface Pro in just a couple of days, but the first commercial promoting the new tablet will be aired two days later during the Grammy Awards show.
Panos Panay, the head of the Surface division at Microsoft, suggested in a short tweet that the ad was ready to be aired, but he refused to provide more information.
“Just saw the latest cut on the next Surface ad. Awesome. Can’t wait to show it,” he said.
Jon M. Chu, the director behind the first Surface RT and the one responsible for the new Surface with Windows 8 Pro, quickly replied to confirm that the ad would go live on Sunday night, according to a post on WindowsObserver.com.
“Announcement! My secret brand new Microsoft Surface Pro commercial makes its TV debut the night of the Grammy’s! Get ready,” he wrote.
