Artist creates new BSOD screen for modern Windows

Microsoft redesigned the Windows 8 infamous Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) to show a sad face whenever something goes wrong and your monitor turns blue, so the company is expected to go further with a new design in Windows 10.

While there’s no indication that this is going to change in Windows 10 (although the company promised to look at every single part of the operating system in order to improve it), designers across the world couldn’t wait any longer and rolled out humorous concepts that could really make sense at some level.

This is the case of this concept originally created by DeviantArt user IvoFajardo for Windows 8, which, to be honest, deserves all the praises just for the message displayed in the error field.

How many times did you have to repair Windows computers after inexperienced users played with the registry, although they weren’t supposed to? So error messages like that might actually be a good way to prevent it from happening again.

Needless to say, do not expect Microsoft to implement a BSOD like the one you see here in Windows 10, but the drawing at the top could really make it into the operating system. In the end, flipping the desk is what most of us are tempted to do whenever the BSOD appears out of nowhere.
