Microsoft has been working on a brand new Calendar app for Windows 10, and fortunately for those who cannot wait to give it a try, it turns out that the leaked build 10051 comes with what seems to be an early version of the new program.

Official details coming from Microsoft are not yet available, but the new Calendar app included in Windows 10 build 10051 boasts a fresh and more modern look that brings it in line with the other revamped apps on Windows 10.

But the biggest addition is definitely support for Google Calendar, a feature that was missing in the previous versions of the Calendar app in Windows 8 and 8.1.

Users can now configure Google Calendar accounts from the same screen where they set up any other account, so they only have to provide their credentials, and that's it.

The only thing that might not please some is the introduction of a hamburger button in the top left corner that gives users the possibility of expanding the sidebar, which in its turn includes additional features, such as a monthly view, a new event button, and a list of all enabled calendars.

Needless to say, this is a redesign that comes in handy to many users out there, but since this is just an early look at the new Calendar app, expect other features to change before the final version of the operating system is ready.
