Windows 8 is already up for grabs, but some users out there are not at all satisfied with the operating system and some of the features it brings.

DeviantArt user myownfriend has created a new Windows 8 concept that comes with a redesigned File Explorer and so-called jumplists to quickly access more options for a running application.

The operating system concept is mostly similar to what we’re seeing on the market right now in Windows 8.1, but with minor visual improvements supposed to appeal to more users.

The clock in the lower right corner is bigger, while File Explorer’s interface has been tweaked with simple visual styles borrowed from Office 2013 that do not remind of the classic design used by Microsoft.

Luckily for Microsoft, Windows 8.1 is already on the market, so there’s no need to adjust the appearance of the core Windows 8 operating system anymore.
