The closer we get to the public unveiling of Windows Phone 10 Preview (expected to take place on January 21), the more concepts we see from designers across the world who envision the appearance of the new mobile operating system.

This time, DeviantArt user Jakub Kubicek created a Windows Phone 10 design that’s actually based on speculation that has reached the web lately and actually makes perfect sense, so don’t be too surprise if the actual design prepared by Microsoft looks a lot like this.

Basically, the concept doesn’t revamp the Windows Phone design too much, but it does bring a number of eye-candy elements and features which certainly add a more modern touch to the mobile operating system.

For instance, the entire home screen is now flat and comes with live tiles that are not transparent anymore, but they still look really good on the Lumia 930 display.

What’s more, the concept implements the long-debated interactive live tiles, which are expected to debut in Windows Phone 10 in one way or another.

Interactive live tiles are supposed to give users the possibility of performing specific tasks without opening the apps themselves, as is the case in this concept with the music app. For instance, users can stop, play, or jump to the next song straight from the live tile, without the need to launch the Music.

Windows Phone 10 will definitely bring some improvements in terms of visual looks, so it remains to be seen if it’s indeed going to look like this concept or not.
