If you’re planning to buy a Surface Pro 2 tablet these days, you’re out of luck, as the device seems to be out of stock almost everywhere, including Microsoft’s online store.

At this point, three of the four models available are unavailable right now, so your only option at this point is to purchase the 512 GB version that’s very, very expensive, as it comes with a price tag of $1,799 (€1,320).

The second-generation Surface family seems to be experiencing quite a terrific success, with both the standard and the Pro models selling like hot cakes since launch.

The Surface Pro 2 comes with an Intel i5 processor, 4 GB or 8 GB of RAM, storage options ranging in between 64 GB and 512 GB, and the full version of Windows 8.1 Pro that also offers support for traditional desktop applications.
