Icon thread no longer stops when adding files for background processing

The second release candidate for Total Commander 7.57a has just been made available for download. It features only three changes, addressing problems with icon thread and file archiving.

In the previous version of the file manager, the icon thread would stop when adding items to the background transfer manager. Icon thread is used for loading icons and calculating folder size in the background.

The problem relating to file archiving was that the selection of the data would not be cleared after the operation completed. In the current revision this no longer applies when wrapping each selected item (file or folder) to a separate archive.

The third change available in this build is updating the Chinese translation.

A new build for Total Commander 8.0 should appear tomorrow. Hopefully, it will be a release candidate for the stable version; otherwise, we should see a new beta (23).
