Total Commander has received a new version today, so in case you’re running a preview build, make sure you get this new one as soon as possible.

Total Commander 8.50 RC 2 comes with bug fixes for most of the issues found in previous versions, so expect the application to run faster and smoother on all Windows editions.

According to the official release notes, the new build addresses glitches found in the thumbnails view in network, the way RAR files are handled, search options, and unexpected crashes.

Just like all the other Total Commander versions, it runs on all Windows builds on the market, so you can download and install it on XP, Vista, 7, 8, and 8.1, as both 32- and 64-bit releases are supported.

Overall, this is the best chance to get a glimpse into the feature lineup of the next stable release, so download Total Commander 8.50 RC 2 right now to find out what’s new.
