It took 15 beta builds and only three release candidates for Total Commander 8.50 to be ready for the regular user, not just for the testing crowd.

The transition from RC3 to the stable revision is marked by a set of fixes that address problems of less significance but still annoying when manifesting themselves.

The developer informs that the new release now refreshes the source panel after moving files with administrator rights and switching to the target panel before the copying process is completed.

A stability issue related to directory synchronization under a certain circumstance has also been fixed.

Furthermore, the developer says that the file manager should now be able to copy in the background an entire drive from the search results using the keyboard commands. On the same note, attempting this operation with the target drive being the same with the source one would not generate the error message informing the user that the action is not allowed.
