TweetDeck, the official Twitter client currently available for Windows users exclusively, has received a new update this morning, so all those running it right now are recommended to install the new version as soon as possible.

Build number 3.3.3 is supposed to provide smoother effects, so the new twit screen no longer flashes when you press the dedicated button, but instead floats into place right in the left side of the screen.

TweetDeck also seems to be a bit lighter on CPU usage, so older workstations should now cope with its hardware requirements a bit easier.

Of course, it continues to work like a charm on all Windows versions and it also appears to be running smoothly on Windows 8.1 too, even though no dedicated support for this particular Windows edition is being offered.
