Tweetium has received a brand new update today, so in case you’re one of the users who are running it right now, you should check for new versions in the store as soon as possible.

According to release notes provided to us today, Tweetium 2.3 adds reply and delete quick actions, while RT and Favorite options no longer appear on your own tweets.

Quote Tweet now positions the caret at the start, rather than the end of the text box, the official release notes also point out, while many of the issues previously reported in the app, including a bug causing incorrect character count calculation for HTTP URLs should no longer exist in the app.

Just like all the other updates released so far, this new version is being delivered through the store, so if you haven’t changed the default Windows 8.1 configuration, the update might already be there on your device.

Of course, Tweetium 2.3 is delivered to all devices running Windows 8.1, including Windows RT tablets such as Microsoft’s very own Surface RT.

Overall, this remains one of the top Twitter clients in the store, so make sure you download Tweetium 2.3 for Windows 8.1 as soon as possible if you’re looking for a quick way to post tweets from the Modern UI.
