An updated version of the Twitter for Windows 8 application is now available for download with a variety of new features and bug fixes packed inside.

One of the most important additions to the new app version is support for multiple accounts. Users will be able to add a new account to the app through just swiping from the top or bottom to bring up the app commands, then clicking on the people icon at the top right.

A “plus” button will be listed at the top right, through which more accounts can be added to the app. There is also the “x” button present next to already added accounts, so that users could easily remove them, Microsoft explains.

Following the update, people will be able to pin lists and user profiles to the Start screen. Another new feature in this app release is list support, allowing users to view lists when navigating to a person’s profile.
