Ubisoft has just launched an update for its popular Rayman Jungle Run game on Windows 8 platforms, most likely thanks to the fact that it’s enjoying a terrific success on Microsoft’s new operating system.

“Because we always want more people running with Rayman, the game is now compatible with computers equipped with ATOM processors!” Ubisoft said in the official release notes.

Rayman provides Windows 8 users with a total of 50 levels and plenty of powers to unlock as you advance in the game, but also with 5 worlds and two characters, Rayman and Globox.

While it’s compatible with all Windows 8 versions currently on the market, Rayman Jungle Run isn’t offered with a freeware license, but with a $2.99 (€2.30) price tag. A trial version is, however, available for both Windows 8 and Windows RT users.
