The newest UltraDefrag build does not sport too many modifications, but it does add some features that can have a direct impact over future development.

In build 5.0.6 of the open source defragmenter GUI debugging output is no longer forced to be saved in the log file. Moreover, the help menu of the application has been added a new entry called Debug, for an easy way to enable debugging.

Additional menu items newly introduced are “View change log,” “View translation report” and “Submit current translation.”

More technical modifications are also available in UltraDefrag 5.0.6 and among them is winx_to_utf8 routine added to ZenWINX library. You can check out all of them on this page.

UltraDefrag is available for download on this page; it is also available as a portable download.
