Microsoft’s latest contender in the tablet market comes with full support for Windows 7 and Windows 8 desktop applications, which means that it can easily turn into a full-featured gaming device. With the necessary peripherals, that is.
Soon after the official Surface with Windows 8 Pro launch on Saturday, excited owners of the tablet started posting clips on YouTube to show everyone that their new device is actually able to run apps in a very smooth way.
This video, for example, shows Counter-Strike Global Offensive being played on the Surface with Windows 8 Pro using the Touch Cover exclusively.
Of course, a keyboard and a mouse would make a big difference when it comes to gaming, but it’s just the living proof that the Surface Pro is capable of doing many more things than a regular tablet.
