14 DAY TRIAL // If you’re a long-time Windows user, you’re most likely familiar with the confusion created by Windows 8, mainly because of the removal of the Start button/Start menu and the introduction of live tiles, and this is also one of the reasons the new operating system failed to stir up interest after its launch.
And due to this confusion, there were plenty of videos out there showing less tech-savvy users, such as dads, mums, and grandpas, trying to get around Windows 8, and the result was easy to predict: many got lost in the Modern UI, had no idea how to close a Metro app, and didn’t know how to shut down their computers.
Now that Windows 10 is almost here, we’re going through the same story once again. In this video, YouTuber Chris Pirillo asks his dad to give a try to Windows 10 on a Surface Pro 3, but contrary to Windows 8, the result is entirely different.
Words like “awesome,” “cool,” and “familiar” are part of the video, and overall, it seems like Windows 10 is a lot much easier to work with than its predecessor.
