14 DAY TRIAL // Microsoft officially introduced the Surface with Windows 8 Pro in Las Vegas, after the company was forced to cancel the launch party in New York due to a snow storm.
Panos Panay, the man in charge with the Surface division at Microsoft, talked to the crowd at the Fashion Show Mall in Las Vegas about the many features bundled into the Surface Pro and the advantages that a tablet running the full version of Windows 8 brings to users.
The Las Vegas event, however, was actually a last-minute choice for the Redmond-based technology giant, as the New York party was canceled only hours before the public debut of the tablet.
We’ve heard that Microsoft has actually started sending out invites for the Las Vegas event during the morning of the launch, just to make sure that enough people could attend the show.
