WinSCP 5.1.3 has been released over the weekend. The fresh revision brings to the table a set of fixes designed to improve the functionality of the application.

This build masks out passwords in logs and the location of the XML report can be configured in .NET assembly.

The current revision eliminates several flaws in file mask validation on Edit mask dialog. On the same note, selecting and filtering files using exclude mask only should no longer cause trouble.

Additional repairs refer to the impossibility to change the local folder after system-wide change, when the local tree is hidden, or to open newly created local directory, with synchronized browsing.

Another problem users faced in previous releases was with timing out while waiting for users to enter the password with FTP protocol.

Download WinSCP; also available in portable version.
