14 DAY TRIAL // The beta build for WinSCP 5.2 has been released this weekend. It brings to the table a great deal of improvements touching on the user interface, which also include a new set of icons.
The developer managed to simplify the Transfer options dialog, which is now displayed only on the first transfer, when using drag and drop, unless the user chooses to show it the next time. Additional changes in this regard include hiding of options when they are not necessary.
Working with transfer settings and presets has been improved, as some of the presets have been removed and new ones are available (“Newer and updates files only”). Unusable presets under the “Transfer settings” drop down menu have been hidden.
