Designer creates browser mockups after the recent leaks

Windows 10 is expected to come with a brand new browser called Spartan and although we’ve already seen some leaked photos with the app in action, details are very scarce right now because Microsoft keeps everything secret until the January 21 event.

And still, thanks to the leaked photos and to the skills of some designers across the world, we can already see some mockups that preview Spartan browser and provide us with a quick glimpse into what the application might actually look like when it hits the market.

Basically, the mockup created by DeviantArt user bannax1994 is based on the same idea of simplicity and makes Spartan really clean and minimalist.

The tab bar is now at the top of the screen, just like it’s the case of other rival browsers, while the toolbar has been redesigned for a much simpler look that would perfectly fit the refined design of Windows 10.

As far as the rest of the features, nothing is certain right now, but people close to the matter hinted that Spartan could come with add-ons and extensions in order to give users the possibility of extending the default functionality of the browser.

Spartan is very likely to be part of the final Windows 10 release in the fall of 2015, but an early version could also show up at some point throughout the development rollout of the operating system.
