Microsoft has yesterday confirmed that Windows 8.1 reached the RTM development stage, but users who wish to move from Windows 8 to the new version need to wait until October 18 to do so.

Still, a Chinese version of Windows 8.1 Enterprise RTM is now available for download from file-sharing websites, thus allowing consumers to have a look at some of its features before the public debut.

Even though it’s available in Chinese, the leaked build can be easily tweaked to switch to another language, but dedicated versions coming in English are very likely to reach the web in the coming days.

Of course, Microsoft doesn’t recommend users to download and install such a leaked version, so you better wait until mid-October to discover the latest goodies brought by the Redmond-based tech giant on the Windows platform.
